Meet Dave
A licensed CPA in Florida and Ohio, Dave has worked in the field for
more than 40 years. He graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a major in accounting in 1975.
Dave was employed by Touche Ross and Company and other local firms in Cincinnati, OH before relocating to Neptune Beach, FL in 1980 to open his own practice. In 1998, Dave and fellow Cincinnati transplant, William “Pat” Cornell formed Linger and Cornell, CPAs PA. Upon Pat’s retirement in June 2022,
Dave reestablished his original practice as David M. Linger, CPA/PFS PA.
To broaden his range of services, Dave acquired securities licenses
in 1998 and an insurance license two years later. In 2019, he
joined the firm of Aksala Wealth Advisors, which provides
wealth management advice to clients in the state of Florida.
Active in the community, Dave serves on the board of Elderly Housing Management Corporation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to
providing affordable housing for low income seniors. In his free time,
Dave enjoys hot air ballooning, traveling and bible study.
